In Yonkers, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across New York vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. The listed phone number is (914) 375-3042. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 41 reviews, which is a strong result for an auto repair shop in Yonkers and suggests consistent service.

Yonkers is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Yonkers is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We were driving in from Montreal and hit a pot hole, which bent our tire’s rim. This repair shop immediately fixed our tire (on a Saturday!) although they were extremely busy! WITHIN 15 MINUTES! Thank you! Great service, experienced guys, I highly recommend.

I found this place on google by reading the awesome reviews. And they were all true! Bob is wonderful! I had a flat and he came to my house to fill my tire with air, so that I wouldn't ruin it driving to the repair shop about 5 minutes from my home. Very honest and kind! And thanks to his extra help I only needed to plug my tire up vs. pay to get a brand new one. I will be using him for all my car services in the future! Great location too in Yonkers.

I've been dealing with Bob a long time with over 5 different cars I've had in my family. He's fair, thorough and will always give you an option when available, to NOT spend the money. He knows his stuff! He's a pretty nice guy too :)

I had an amazing experience at this shop. My car broke down while driving down from Upstate NY and luckily I was near Scaringella Auto Repair. Bob made sure to take care of my car right away since he knew I was from out of the area. It was a quick and affordable fix and he wouldn't even accept a tip which he more than deserved! I would recommend this shop in a heartbeat. Thanks again Bob!!
